Adjunct Professor in Education
MEd - University of Central Florida
BS - University of Central Florida
Kelly Collum earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Elementary Education. For over ten years she has been an enthusiastic teacher who LOVES her job! She truly couldn't ask to work in a better profession. Kelly has worked in a variety of classroom settings such as low-income, title-one, ESE, and ESOL. Kelly feels very passionate about the education of children and strives on a daily basis to ensure that her group of students will impact the world one day. She has also enjoyed teaching at the University level for over five years. She finds it truly amazing how much passion she sees for teaching in each and every one of the courses she teaches.
When not teaching, Kelly is spending time with family. She has a beautiful baby girl who is consuming life with joy and love! She also has a husband who thinks he’s a comedic genius and two crazy dogs. Kelly loves to exercise and is certified as a CRT200 Yoga Instructor and teaches an intense style of yoga called Hot Vinyasa Yoga (which pretty much means you’re getting a cardio workout in a heated room).
Kelly and her family live in Florida, literally a ten-minute drive from the ocean and are surrounded with gorgeous nature trails!
