Kevin grew up in the pacific northwest and attended Eastern Washington University for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. Upon graduation Kevin moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he has been practicing as a school psychologist since 1997. Additionally, Kevin serves as adjunct faculty for both Ottawa University (since 2012) and Grand Canyon University (since 2009), as well as being a practicum and internship supervisor of school psychology candidates from a variety of universities. Kevin received the Grand Canyon University excellence in teaching award in 2010 and 2012 as well as the Lamp of Learning Award (2017) from Washington Elementary School District and Educator of the Year award from the Arizona Middle Level Association (2016). Kevin has served as the counseling coordinator for Washington Elementary School District’s 32 schools, represented professional service staff with employment dispute resolution, salary and benefits and working condition concerns, and has developed, wrote and implemented district wide programs for dealing with challenging student behaviors. Kevin's various memberships include the Washington District Education Association, Arizona Education Association, Arizona Association of School Psychologists, National Association of School Psychologists and PsiChi, National Honor Society for Psychology.
