Lea Bastin grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and spent her first 20 years traveling as much as possible, experiencing as many cultures as she could. After settling down with her family, she completed her undergraduate degree at Ottawa University studying Psychology and Human Services. Wanting to continue to work with multiple cultures, Lea took a job in social services working with families on child safety. While working with the Department of Child Safety, Lea pursued her graduate degree, completing a Master’s of Science in Psychology. Upon completion of her MSP, she chose to make a career change and enter higher education. Currently working as a counselor and trainer at a local university, Lea is also pursuing her PhD in Psychology with an Emphasis in Cognition and Instruction.
