Susan Gonda, DNP
Adjunct Professor in Nursing
DNP - Rush University
MSN - California State University
BSN - California State University
Susan Gonda lived her formative years in the mid-west; Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Missouri to be exact before moving to California. While living in southern California for over 35 years, she received her nursing education and started her clinical career as a Pediatric nurse at Children's Hospital Orange County. As Dr. Gonda began to move up the administrative ladder, she soon realized that getting more education and a graduate degree was absolutely necessary. Susan was the Administrator for a very, very busy Women's and Children's Service Line in the San Fernando Valley and joined the faculty at Mount St Mary's College, teaching in the accelerated BSN program, before moving to Oregon. In Oregon, Dr. Sue was the Nursing Program Director for an upstart LPN/VN program before accepting a position in Arizona as the Program Director for an Associate Degree nursing program. With over 40 years as a registered nurse, Susan has demonstrated expertise in the areas of Service, Academia, and as a volunteer with the Arizona Nurses Association, Arizona Board of Nursing, and National League for Nurses as a program evaluation specialist. I have recently joined the Ottawa faculty while working with the Continuing Nursing Education Group and online nursing faculty.
