An innovative approach to nursing education, the concurrent associate degree-baccalaureate degree nursing program allows students to work on an associate’s degree in nursing at a highly-selective partner community/technical college while simultaneously taking online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) courses at Ottawa University. This arrangement consists of students taking on-ground associate degree nursing courses and online BSN courses with both institutions in a dually-enrolled fashion. In many cases, the student will finish their associate’s degree in nursing and their BSN at the same time or within 1-2 semesters of each other. Graduation from Ottawa University occurs upon successful completion of the NCLEX-RN as well as all BSN courses.
