Cummings was a four year letterman (1992-96) for the OU men’s basketball team.

He led the Braves to a four year record of 67-48, to a KCAC Championship (1994-95), two NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Tournaments, and a District 10 Championship. Cummings was a two-time NAIA All-American, earning Second Team honors in 1995-96. He was named KCAC Player of the Year in 1995-96, earned four All-KCAC selections with three First Team honors, and he was named KCAC Freshman of the Year in 1992-93.

In his four years in an OU uniform, Cummings put his name in the Brave record book. He is ranked second in career scoring (1,885), tied for fifth in career rebounds (775), fifth in career steals (154), third in career field goals attempted (1,475), second in career field goals made (770), seventh in career field goal percentage (.522), fourth in career free throws attempted (597), sixth in career free throws made (345), seventh in career blocked shots (62), and seventh in career scoring average (16.5).

Cummings is the F&B Manager at Penn National Gaming Company.
