Early Childhood Education
At Ottawa University, our Early Childhood Education program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, social competencies, methods, communication skills and sensitivity necessary to be effective in a school environment. In this program, you will complete methods courses, professional education courses, and field experiences and observations. Through these courses, you can gain a variety of critical-thinking skills and learn about a variety of areas, including mathematics, science, writing, communication and fine arts. You can also gain awareness of cultural diversity and the social and political contexts of education. Our teacher education programs are state approved in Arizona.
