Kim Coffman-Romero holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University and has over 30 years experience in higher education; twenty as a faculty member with Ottawa University - Arizona. She earned a B.A. in Communication Arts & Sciences /Business at Western Michigan University and M.Ed. in Adult & Higher Education from Arizona State University. Prior to joining Ottawa University in 1994, Kim taught at Davenport College of Business, Arizona State University, and Grand Canyon University. She teaches a variety of courses both in the graduate and undergraduate programs for the Ottawa University School of Education.
At Ottawa University, she has held several positions and has served on numerous committees during her tenure including, Associate Dean of Education, Campus Dean of Instruction, Academic Deans’ Council, Faculty Academic Committee, Chair of Adjunct Faculty Support Committee, Chair of AZ Faculty, Blackboard Training and Live Text facilitator for faculty and students.
Kim resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband Fred and has two sons, three step sons, and nine grandchildren. She enjoys reading, photography, and the great outdoors.
