Coach McClintock is in his fourth season as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program.
In his previous three seasons, McClintock has helped the Braves to an overall record of 40-48 and he has coached 13 All-KCAC performers.
Before coming to OU, McClintock was the head boys’ basketball coach (2012-15) at Salem High School in Salem, Mo. While at SHS, he coached eight All-Conference performers, four All-District performers, and led Salem High to its first winning record (14-11) in eight years during the 2014-15.
Prior to becoming the head coach at Salem High School, McClintock was an assistant men’s basketball coach at William Woods University under Head Coach Nick Totta. While at WWU, he was the recruiting coordinator, worked individually with post players, and assisted with budgeting.
McClintock graduated from Ottawa University in January of 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education. As a member of the OU men’s basketball team, he helped the Braves to one KCAC Regular Season Championship, one KCAC Tournament Championship, two NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances, and two NAIA ‘Sweet 16’ appearances; he was a two-time First Team All-KCAC selection and a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American.
McClintock also made his mark in the OU record book in his four years as a Brave. He is ranked in the top 10 in scoring (1,644), rebounding (810), steals (167), field goals attempted (1,169), field goals made (595), 3-pt field goals attempted (387), 3-pt field goals made (150), 3-pt field goal percentage (.387), free throws made (307), free throw percentage (.805), blocked shots (135), season scoring (691), season field goals attempted (494), season field goals made (247), season field goal percentage (.546), season steals (78), season blocked shots (48), single game rebounds (21), single game assists (10), single game steals (7), season scoring average (20.9), and season free throw percentage (.828).
McClintock graduated from William Woods University in May of 2012 with his master’s in athletics/activities administration.
McClintock and his wife Kirsten have two boys, ten year old Lawson and six year old Jackson.
