Ottawa University, an entrepreneurial Christian University, invites candidates and/or nominations for a University Registrar to reside at the Ottawa, Kansas Residential Campus.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President/University Provost, this position is responsible monitoring, implementing and ensuring academic policies are followed and maintained; assuring accuracy of student data/information stored in the system of record (Jenzabar CX) as well as supporting required reporting requirements; and effectively supporting the administrative academic record needs and requirements of a multi-campus system. This position is responsible for the leadership and management of the staff of the Office of the Registrar.
The University Registrar is expected to ensure the department will adapt to growth and change, will maintain best practices in operations and service, assure compliance requirements are met, and maintain the overall data integrity of academic records systems.
Ottawa or Overland Park, Kansas
Qualifications include: a Master’s Degree in a related field (required) and a minimum five years of academic records/registrarial leadership experience with progressively responsible experience in a management role. Position requires a demonstrated knowledge and proven ability to lead a registrarial team, expertise in integrated systems management, and an advanced knowledge of registrar technology a must.
