This year’s conference focused on “The Grace of God in the Whole of Life” and featured Foster and his son, Nathan Foster, as well as the Rev. Dr. Roger Fredrikson and his son, the Rev. Joel Fredrikson. Dr. Richard Foster is a renowned Christian author and founder of Renovaré, a nonprofit organization that centers on Christian spiritual formation and discipleship. Nathan is also a Christian author (“Wisdom Chaser”) and serves as director of teaching ministries at Renovaré. Dr. Foster’s presentations focused on “Transforming Grace” and “Grace and the Violence of the Kingdom.” “There is a progression in the spiritual life,” he said. “You don’t take an occasional jogger and put them in a marathon race. You don’t do that in the spiritual life either, but I didn’t understand that.” Nathan Foster presented “How to become Twice a Child of Hell in the Name of God” and “Grace in Our Relationships.” The conference also included group discussions and sit-down dialogues with each of the presenters. “OU was very blessed to have Richard and Nathan Foster here for our annual Pastor’s Conference,” said Campus Pastor Bud McCluney. “They are two men who love the Lord and desire for people to understand this idea of grace that God gives us.” You can view each of the presentations from the Pastors Conference at
