New Phoenix Campus to be Dedicated as Hays Center

Posted by Paula Paine on January 14, 2015 in Ottawa UniversitNew-Phoenix-Campus1.jpgy’s Phoenix campus has officially unpacked all its boxes and settled into its newly renovated and permanent home at 9414 N. 25th Avenue, just two blocks south of its previous location. The purchase of the building, which has received HLC approval, allows the University to save more than $500,000 annually. The new campus has a beautiful open courtyard, large meeting rooms, ample group facilities, and isSonny-Betty.jpg organized by school cluster, providing an exceptional learning, teaching and meeting environment.
“We have been receiving a great deal of positive feedback over our new building,” said Campus Executive Fred Romero. “People are enjoying the inviting campus atmosphere, the layout of the classrooms, and the upgraded audio/visual equipment built into each room. Most agree that it is a big improvement over our previous location.”
During the OU board meetings on February 20, 2015, the building is set to be dedicated as the Hays Center in honor of benefactors E. Earl “Sonny” (’93 AZ) and Betty Hays. All Arizona students, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to the dedication.
