The OUAZ men’s golf team traveled to Palm Coast, FL., for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Golf National Championships. The Spirit took fifth place as a team, led by Freshman Phil Williams’ final round 69. Williams became the first NCCAA All-American in OUAZ’s short history with a fourth place finish.

“We have a bright future ahead and we knew coming into this season that we would have our ups and downs,” said OUAZ head golf coach Clayton Sikorski.

Freshman Kayli Melissa was the lone member of the women’s team to qualify for nationals. She finished in a tie for 33rd overall.
