OUAZ Introduces Club Team Activities

Posted by Janae Melvin on August 6, 2018 in Ottawa University Arizona is offering four new club team activities beginning in the 2018-2019 school year. The club teams are part of OUAZ’s unique education model that allows students to pursue their academic and career goals while participating in new and exciting activities.

Scholarships are available for participants in these activities. Students can participate in bowling, men’s lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee and/or a truly unique activity, the Outdoor Adventure Club. The bowling, lacrosse and Ultimate Frisbee teams will practice regularly and compete against other club teams in the area.

Those who join the Outdoor Adventure Club will take part in activities in the desert, mountains or on the lakes through club trips, events and coursework. These activities will be chosen by club members and could include hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, repelling, snowboarding, and survival skills.

Participation is open to all OUAZ students and experience is not necessary to join.
