Wisconsin receives SEVIS Approval

Posted by Janae Melvin on August 6, 2018 in The International Executive MBA program is expanding at Ottawa University with the recent announcement that the Brookfield campus had received approval as a SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) location. Brookfield joins Overland Park, Ks., and Phoenix, Az., as approved locations for the International EMBA.

Having SEVIS approval allows schools to accept and admit foreign and nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors. SEVIS tracks and monitors both the students and the educational institution. SEVIS falls under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, which, on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, works with these individuals whose primary reason for coming to the United States is to be a student.

OU-Wisconsin expects to begin the first cohort of the EMBA with the Fall 2018 term. To conclude fiscal year 2017-2018, 240 students arrived at either the Phoenix or Overland Park campuses.
