2013 – "The Grace of God in the Whole of Life" with Richard Foster

The third annual Conference for Pastors and Laity was held on March 14 and 15, 2013, with renowned Christian author Richard J. Foster ("Celebration of Discipline") and his son, Nathan ("Wisdom Chasers"), as conference presenters, in conjunction with Roger Fredrikson and his son, Rev. Joel Fredrikson. The theme of the two-day event was "The Grace of God in the Whole of Life."

2012 – "Becoming Like Jesus" with Dr. James Bryan Smith

In 2012, author and lecturer Rev. Dr. James Bryan Smith was the featured speaker at the second annual Conference for Pastors and Laity. He led workshops designed to help pastors and lay people understand the meaning of "Becoming Like Jesus." Smith is a theology professor at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and is a founding member of Renovaré.

2011 – "The Church as Transformational Community" with Justin and Margaret Campbell

The inaugural conference took place on February 1-2, 2011, in the Fredrikson Chapel. It focused on "The Church as Transformational Community" with featured speakers Justin and Margaret Campbell, lay leaders at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Justin is the developer of a 33-week curriculum on discipleship entitled "Taking Hold of the With-God Life." Margaret is a member of Renovaré, a spiritual renewal ministry started in 1987 by Richard J. Foster.
