Instructor Jennifer Stephens has been teaching in higher education for the last 12 years and recently retired from the Army. She was a transportation officer while in the service and has had two decades of wonderful and exciting jobs. She is a Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) and her favorite job was when she was the commander of a boat company in Pearl Harbor. Instructor Stephens’s last job was a Battalion Executive Officer in Kansas City where she absolutely loved her job and was sad to leave.
Jennifer has taught Leadership, Ethics, Law, Management, Supply, Logistics, Decision Making and many other areas over the years. She taught at major universities and colleges, both online and brick and mortar and loves to coach, teach and mentor students.
She received her BS in Finance from the University of Louisville, MBA from the University of Phoenix, Law Degree from Concord Law School from Concord Law School and ABD on her PhD from Northcentral University.  In 2016, Jennifer completed her continuing education with the Harvard School of Business and that was one of her bucket list items. She is a lifelong learner and loves to share that passion with her students.

She has published work in a few areas including the Army Logistician and has two books coming out:  one is with Dr. Stephen Covey (7 Habits of Highly Effective People) called “Success Simplified” and the other is “Roadmap to Success” with Ken Blanchard (The One Minute Manager). In 2012 I had a couple of books come out with Jack Canfield (The Secret and Chicken Soup for the Soul) and Dr. Robert Fuller so I am pretty excited about that.

In addition to academics she is an avid Green Bay Packer fanatic (also a Brett Favre fan – Don’t mention the Vikings!!!) and enjoys spending time with her three young children.
