|Rich Hardy grew up in Texas and served with the Navy right out of high school. Then he earned two degrees in Comparative Literature from Texas Tech and taught for a while. Then he earned a degree in Physics and Geophysics from the University of Colorado and served as a Research Geophysicist for an oil company. While working full time in the oil business, he earned a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from the University of Tulsa and then he practiced Health Law in Oklahoma for a number of years. In 2001, his wife and he went to an MD Medical School to teach and take courses; she took the courses for real and he took most of them as a hobby; he also completed a Masters program in Hyperbaric Medicine. Then he began teaching for Ottawa in 2004. His wife practices Hospital Medicine and Clinical Medicine. They live in Grove, Oklahoma.
