Kristina Montano is an Ottawa University Faculty Member at the Residential Campus in Surprise, Arizona. She has started with Ottawa University, in June 2017. Her previous teaching experience is as Adjunct Faculty for Maricopa Community College. She has both online and face-to-face teaching experience, as well as course and curriculum development for the School of Education.
Her Bachelor’s degree is in PE Professional and Communications (Broadcasting), which she received from University of New Mexico. Her Master’s degree is in Health and Human Performance, which she received from Fort Hays State University. She is currently, working towards her Doctor of Education- Sports and Athletic Management, from Northcentral University.
She comes from a long background of athletics, playing collegiate softball, professional softball as well as coaching/mentoring student-athletes for over 10 years. For fun, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband Alexander (AJ), son Stetson and Daughter Dezirae. Additionally, she enjoys woodworking, decorating and upgrading her home with DIY projects on the weekends.
