Ottawa University Arizona Launches Unique, New 4 year MBA Pathway Program for 2023 High School Graduates.
The new 4-year MBA Pathway Program for 2023 high school graduates at Ottawa University Arizona (OUAZ) is a unique opportunity for graduating seniors interested in pursuing a career in business. Qualified students who enroll in this program will graduate in 4-years with two degrees, one a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the other a Master in Business Administration (MBA).
FLEXTERM Advantage
With OUAZ’s FLEXTERM Advantage, students can take courses in a 4, 8, and 16-week formats. They will work with their faculty member and Adawe advisor to determine their course schedule. Students can take up to 21 credits without additional costs. This flexibility is why students can complete the two degrees faster without taking classes one at-a- time and for each “traditional semester. Students can also choose to take classes in-class or in an online format. The MBA students will work with their advisor who will outline their degree completion plan upon enrollment and will continue to work with them throughout the program to ensure students remain on track.
Internships and Networking Abound
OUAZ’s 4-Year Pathway Program MBA students will have unprecedented access to internships and networking opportunities. OUAZ has partnered with the City of Surprise Economic Development department to offer students opportunities to lead community outreach during Major League Baseball’s Spring Training at Surprise Stadium, internships in a variety of business fields and opportunities to interview civic and business leaders throughout the program.
Personal Growth Days
Prepare Students for Lives of Significance
Students enrolled in this program will also participate in OUAZ’s exclusive Personal Growth Day program. Conducted most Wednesdays throughout the academic year, this is where students attend a one-hour Spirit Life session featuring campus announcements, praise and worship, as well as guest speakers on a variety of relevant topics. After Spirit Life, students gather for a luncheon and then participate in world- and work-ready skills development workshops for 90 minutes. These workshops are taught by faculty and area professionals. Attendance and participation in these Personal Growth Days adds value to the Pathway Program students and is a requirement for graduation. Examples of workshops include interviewing skills, dining etiquette, career planning and emotional intelligence.
