Brittney Kellar Named Assistant Athletic Director At OUAZ



Surprise, AZ.
 – OUAZ Director of Athletics, Kevin Steele, is pleased to announce the hiring of Brittney Kellar as Assistant Athletics Director for Internal Operations. 
 
“Brittney (Kellar) brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our staff,” said OUAZ Director of Athletics Kevin Steele. “She was invaluable in her former position at MNU and will be even more so here in Surprise. Her organizational skills and grasp of the inner workings of the NAIA and athletics in general will serve each student-athlete and coach very well.”
                 
Kellar comes from MidAmerica Nazarene University, where she was the Assistant Athletics Director for Business, Marketing, and Event Management. She was responsible for the ongoing business operations, event promotions, and management for all sports. She was also the Director of the Pioneer Athletics Association and Athletics Department Title IX officer. Kellar also obtained her master’s in management from MNU.
 
“I am excited to get to work and oversee big growth at OUAZ,” said Brittney Kellar. “I look forward to investing in the lives of our student-athletes and assisting in providing them with an opportunity to grow in the classroom, on the field, and in their faith.”
 
Kellar comes to OUAZ with previous experience from working in the financial institutions industry as a banker with Wells Fargo. She also has experience in the private sector, where she has worked in marketing for Vance Publications, Comcast, New Mexico Coalition for Financial Education, and KTAR Radio. She also has extensive community involvement.
 
Prior to her arrival at MNU, Kellar coached cheerleading in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brittney was a cheerleader at Arizona State University and also cheered at the University of New Mexico from 2007-2010, where she attained her bachelor’s degree in mass media communications. Kellar earned her Master of Science in Management from MNU.
Brittney Kellar is married to Skelly Kellar, the OUAZ Women’s Soccer Head Coach. They recently announced the birth of their first child, son, Bohde.
