Latest Ottawa Spirit Now Online

The winter edition of the Ottawa Spirit is now available online. Click here to read about Ottawa University’s Spirit of Community through stories about Sergeant Allen Hill and the Extreme Makeover home he and his family received; about lifesaving meals; service in Ethiopia; Biggest Loser winner John Rhode; tennis returning to OU; and a host of other activities that served to bring us together as community over the past several months.

Ottawa University Collaborative Venture With AASBO

Ottawa University finalized a collaborative agreement with the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO). The agreement allows AASBO members who have taken AASBO coursework through Central Arizona College to transfer those credits into Ottawa University’s Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree program.

'Where Do We Go From Here?'

Ottawa University-Kansas City graduate Jakoma Machok, ’10, will deliver the commencement address at the OU-KC Commencement Ceremonies Saturday, May 19 in Ottawa, Kan.

Machok, who received his bachelor’s degree from OU, will deliver his address, “Where Do We Go from Here,” and then walk across the stage to accept his Master of Business Administration degree.

Machok is one of the Lost Boys of Sudan — a group of about 27,000 boys from southern Sudan who lost their families to genocide in the 1980s and 1990s.
