Raul
Roy was a four-year standout on the Braves football team. Lettering all four years he played, he was named a NAIA All-American First Team and Second Team, was named KCAC Player of the Year twice and was a three-time First Team All-KCAC selection, also earning Honorable Mention his freshman
year. He is the only player in KCAC history to earn KCAC Player of the Week honors on offense and on defense in the same season, which he did during his senior season. He never played on a losing team at OU, winning one KCAC football championship and appearing in a NAIA playoff game. Roy holds the OU school record in career punt returns with 51 and single season punt returns with 33 in 2000. He is tied for second overall in career interceptions with 19 and is third overall in longest fumble returned
for a touchdown with a 55 yard return against Quincy University in 1999. He played quarterback for the Braves in seven games during his junior year and split time between free safety and quarterback as a senior. In his career, he amassed 2,068 yards of total offense.
 
Roy is the assistant athletic director at Holy Cross of San Antonio in San Antonio, TX.  He is also a teacher, assistant football and track coach at Holy Cross, where he has been since 2014. Before arriving at Holy Cross, he spent four years as athletic director and head football coach at St. Anthony Catholic High School in San Antonio.
 
Roy volunteered with the Fighting to Rid Gangs in America Foundation, where he gave motivational speeches to youth in Corpus Christi, TX. He also is a motivational speaker at Catholic Middle Schools in San Antonio and the Master of Ceremonies for Hope for the Future Annual 5K Run to support Catholic schools.
