Jay Kahnt is the winningest coach in Ottawa University history, boasting an impressive record 536 wins with accolades including: 6-Time KCAC Coach of the Year, 6-Time KCAC Regular Season Champions, 2-Time KCAC Tournament Champions, and NFCA Region IV Staff of the Year (2021) and 2 trips to the NAIA World Series (2017 and 2021). Prior to and in addition to his decades-long run with the Ottawa University softball team, Jay served as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, Ottawa University Intramural Director and Professor in Exercise Science. Jay’s involvement extends into the community as a coach with both the Ottawa Recreation Commission and Princeton Recreation Commission.
