Kristin Scheufler Mallory

Mallory lettered in women’s basketball (1988-92).

She helped lead the Lady Braves to a four year record of 35-70. Mallory earned First Team All-District 10 honors in 1991-92. She was a three-time All-KCAC selection, earning First Team honors in 1991-92 and in 1989-90. Mallory was an Honorable Mention selection in 1990-91.

Mallory put her name in the OU record book in her four years as a Lady Brave. She is ranked fourth in career scoring (1,300), seventh in career rebounding (640), ninth in career assists (220), ninth in career steals (168), second in career field goals attempted (1,299), second in career field goals made (563), first in single season field goals attempted (471), eighth in single season field goals made (167), sixth in single season scoring average (16.1), fifth in single game scoring (32), 10th in single game rebounds (18), and ninth in single game steals (7).

After graduating from OU, Mallory went on to coach women’s basketball at Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Kan. Her 2007-08 basketball team won the Kansas High School State Championship. Her father Leonard Scheufler is also a member of the BAHOF. They are the first Father(Mother)/Daughter(Son) to be elected to the BAHOF.
