Ottawa University's online courses are taught via the Blackboard learning management system, which provides an easy to use virtual classroom space, low student to faculty ratios and dynamic discussion and connections with your professor and classmates. Plus, your professor is always accessible when you have a question. Courses typically feature a variety of assignments and discussions. Each course lasts eight weeks and is entirely online – no outside study groups required. You can view our sample syllabi to see the concepts and workload involved in each course.
We invite you to sample a class now as our guest and experience an Ottawa University online course first-hand.
Please feel free to try out all aspects of the virtual classroom. Get a feel for posting on the discussion board or sending the professor an email message. The course is not "live," so there’s no pressure! This is your time to get comfortable with online courses. However, our professor is on duty and will respond to your email message within 24 hours.
