|Dr. Crisp is an instructor and course content expert in Ottawa's online master's nursing leadership program. She has been a pediatric nurse for the past 40 years serving in a variety of leadership capacities in both professional and volunteer arenas. She received her doctorate in 2009 and taught at Indiana University Purdue University Columbus for 7 years before taking time off to care for her mother at the end of life. Dr. Crisp is mother of a young adult who is medically complex and ventilator dependent, works as a pediatric home care nurse, volunteers for a Boston terrier rescue, and is mom to 2 dogs, 3 cats, and foster mom to 1 Boston terrier through the rescue, In her spare time, she likes to read, knit, and practice photography.
