Instructor, Heidi Kammer-Hodge is pleased to serve as adjunct faculty for the Ottawa University, online addiction program. Professionally, she maintains over twenty years as a leader, executive, consultant, and provider in behavioral health and integrated care. Instructor Kammer-Hodge has a Masters in Social Work with emphasis in family practice and policy/ administration from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of South Dakota in social work and addictions studies. She is a licensed mental health professional and licensed addiction professional. Instructor Kammer-Hodge has served as a senior and executive leader for over ten years. In addition, she maintains a consulting firm that specializes in evaluation, grant writing, and infrastructure development with non profit organizations. She serves as adjunct faculty with the University of Minnesota, Ottawa University, and Briar Cliff University. Instructor, Heidi Kammer-Hodge grew up on a farm in Bloomfield, Nebraska. Prior to relocating to Iowa in 2016 to be closer to family where she grew up, she was in the Twin Cities- Minneapolis, Minnesota for seventeen years. She has two beautiful daughters, Emily (14) and Grace (11) with her husband, Vince. She has taught with Ottawa University since 2018 and enjoys integrating her behavioral health clinical and business experience to support students for career success.
