Instructor Kendra Stewart-Nelson is an adjunct faculty member that teaches in the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program. Dr. Stewart-Nelson earned her doctorate degree in Behavioral Health at Arizona State University. She has worked in the behavioral health field for over 20 years. She brings private practice and clinical setting expertise into her classrooms. She has taught with Ottawa University since 2016. With each teaching moment, Dr. Stewart-Nelson looks forward to integrating innovation and creativity with her students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, writing and being outdoors.
