Instructor Oguzhan Batmaz grew up in Turkey and completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at Gaziantep University. He moved to Lawrence, Kansas to attend graduate school at University of Kansas and finished his MA in Economics in 2012. He then started his PhD at the same place, and now he is a PhD candidate -ABD-. He taught both principles and electives in Economics at University of Kansas. His specialization areas International Economics/Finance, Macroeconomics, Growth-Development, and Institutional Economics. He is currently teaching at Ottawa University as an Adjunct Instructor and enjoys sharing his teaching experiences within the classroom. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family.
