Health Care Management Concentration

The concentration in health care management promotes an understanding of complex, evolving and integrated health care and reimbursement systems. Students analyze perspectives, methods and values associated with the delivery and financing of health services. They evaluate client needs, fiscal constraints, management practices, ethical principles, public policies, promotional strategies and system designs to discover ways to meet the growing demands for affordable, efficient, responsible and effective health care.

Health Care Management Concentration Courses

A concentration consists of a minimum of four courses, of which at least 12 semester credits must be upper division. See the course catalog for more information regarding concentrations.

  • Managing Integration of Health Care Systems
  • Health Care Law and Ethics
  • Health Care Policy and Regulations
  • Management of Health Care Organizations*
