This accelreated, online Health Care Management program promotes an understanding of complex, evolving and integrated health care and reimbursement systems. The clinical track enables those who currently have a registry or license (for example, a radiologist, occupational therapist or registered nurse) to transfer in a minimum of 30 hours of clinical/laboratory coursework and then complete the necessary core courses to earn the degree.

Career Outlook for the B.A. in Health Care Management (Clinical)
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the number of people employed as managers in the health service industry will increase by 32% through 2029. The median annual wage in health care management positions was $100,980 in May 2019. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $58,820, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $189,000.
The need for people with skills and expertise will increase as careers in health care management systems become more in-demand and more complex. Graduates can pursue health care management and administration career options in settings such as hospitals, residential care facilities, nursing homes, home health agencies, ambulatory services and group medical practices. Medical and health services managers typically have training or experience in both health and management. Other occupations requiring knowledge of both fields are insurance underwriters and social and community service managers.
Medical and health services managers must be familiar with management principles and practices. For supervisory positions, a bachelor’s degree is normally required. Some careers in healthcare administration require an advanced degree.
