In an increasingly competitive marketplace, organizations are seeking business school graduates who are broadly educated, deeply informed, exceedingly skilled, and highly principled. Understanding the need to develop work-ready, street-smart leaders who can be impact players for their organizations and communities right out of the gate, the Angell Snyder School of Business is constantly improving our program offerings and using innovative instructional methods to prepare highly skilled graduates.
Named in honor of two of Ottawa University’s most impactful and admired business professors, Dr. Wayne Angell and Dr. Sherwin Snyder, the Angell Snyder School of Business has a long and distinguished history of developing leaders who combine strong technical and analytical capabilities with a clear moral compass. Alumni of the Angell Snyder School of Business are distinguishing themselves in several different industries in the United States and in various cities around the globe. This is particularly significant as we reflect on how the Angell Snyder School of Business exemplifies the mission of our 150 year-old University.
Students who enroll in our liberal arts-based program experience business education from multiple perspectives. Students are exposed to a wide variety of internships, study abroad programs, academic symposia, and opportunities to directly engage highly successful business professionals. These opportunities allow our business majors to gain the global perspective and the critical thinking skills that employers are seeking.
