Brianne Fulton Miller, Associate Professor of Art, is the Lead Faculty member for the art department at Ottawa University. She received her A.A. with a concentration in art from Cottey College, her B.F.A. (photography) from Truman State University and her M.F.A. (ceramics) from Fort Hays State University. Professor Fulton Miller has taught since 2009, serving as Department Coordinator of the art department of Cottey College, as an Art Instructor at Crowder College for two years, and as a graduate teaching assistant at Fort Hays State University. Professionally, Brianne has exhibited her work in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, Pennsylvania, New York, and Wyoming, and has a piece in the permanent collection of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in Jingdezhen, China. Brianne is currently the regional liaison for the Kansas Artists and Craftsmen Association, has been a featured panelist for the Arts Council of Johnson County’s SmArt Exchange series, and has juried several art competitions for professional and student arts organizations. She is excited to engage with students at Ottawa University, and always looks forward to helping her students to achieve their own definitions of success.
