Demetrius Anderson is a Licensed Social Worker and Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience in the human services field. He brings extensive expertise in social work, counseling, quality assurance, and higher education to Ottawa University’s Human Services Program. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (Bachelor of Social Work) and Lakeland University (Master of Arts in Counseling), Demetrius has dedicated his career to strengthening human service systems and improving outcomes for individuals, families, and communities throughout Wisconsin.
Throughout his career, Demetrius has been committed to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health and human service programs. His background in quality assurance has provided him with extensive experience in program evaluation, compliance, continuous quality improvement, and the implementation of best practices. He also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Council on Accreditation (COA), partnering with agencies across the country to evaluate programs and support the implementation of nationally recognized standards for clinical and social services.
Demetrius has worked with diverse populations across a broad range of human service settings, addressing complex social, behavioral, and mental health challenges. His empathetic, culturally responsive approach enables him to build meaningful relationships with individuals from all backgrounds.
