Dr. Xiaobin Zuo is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. He joined the University in the fall of 2019.
Dr. Zuo teaches a range of chemistry courses, including Concepts of Chemistry and Lab, General Chemistry I and II with Labs, and Organic Chemistry I and II with Labs. His teaching emphasizes hands-on learning and connecting chemical principles to real-world applications.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Zuo has served as Chair of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Wakarusa Valley Local Section since 2023. He also serves as the Program Coordinator of the ACS Project SEED Program in Kansas, which provides economically disadvantaged high school students with opportunities to participate in mentored research experiences in chemistry and related disciplines.
