The Gibson Student Center provides high quality food in a clean, comfortable setting that meets the needs of students, faculty and staff within the Ottawa University community. Our commitment is to provide our guests with tasty, healthful foods with a smile. One of the newest features is that we are proudly serving Starbucks coffee and drinks. Food services can also make arrangements for special dietary needs, including B.R.A.T. diets when needed.

The All Access meal plan allows students the opportunity to each every meal offered in the Hetrick Bistro.
Dining Dollars: $100
The 225-block meal plan allows students to eat a total of 225 meals in the Hetrick Bistro per semester.
Dining Dollars: $75
The 100-block meal plan allows students to eat a total of 100 meals in the Hetrick Bistro per semester.
During the school year, the Hetrick Bistro is open the following hours:
Monday - Friday
7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
NOTE: From 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. only the Grill, Island and Salad Bar will be open.
Saturday - Sunday
11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Break and summer times are distributed/posted.
Hours are subject to change and vary in the summer and on breaks. Notices are sent out through various media to announce changes.
All undergraduate students are required to have a meal plan.
Meal plan requirements are based on living arrangements and academic status. For more details, reference the meal plan policy.
These are funds that are automatically loaded on your Braves Card for use in the Gibson Student Center. The amount varies depending on which dining club membership you are signed up for. Any unused funds are eliminated at the end of each semester.
Students who have special dietary should contact the Office of Student Affairs to alert them of their special needs. The team will then direct them with any additional information that is needed in order to best service their request.
When students grow ill, a BRAT diet can be extremely helpful for the recovery process.
Students who would like to request a BRAT diet do so through the University Nurse (who can be seen at no charge).
