Biology - Secondary Education Concentration

Understand and respect the patterns and processes of the living world. You will develop technical and analytical skills needed to identify and evaluate the significance of biological problems across all levels of organization, from the cell to the biosphere.

This degree program was developed for those who want to teach at the secondary level. You will gain hands-on, in-classroom experiences. Prospective secondary education teachers learn how to identify and be sensitive to the unique needs, challenges and learning styles of diverse student populations.
