Interested in Becoming an RA?

Resident Assistants (RA) are responsible in assisting in the planning and operation of the residence halls of OUAZ. The Resident Assistant is a vital part of the Residential Life Office and considered to be a major leadership position. The resident assistant is a role model and has an immense impact on the collegiate experience of residential students. As a member of the Residential Life team, the RA position focuses on student interaction, community development, academic enrichments, communication, administrative management, truth and service of the residential communities at OUAZ.

If you are interested in becoming a Resident Assistant, the Residential Life Office typically hires in the Spring semester from January to March each year. Be on the lookout for hiring information for the following year.

Hiring Process:

  • Step 1: Attend Information Sessions
  • Step 2: Apply: January – Mid-February
  • Step 3: Attend Group Interviews
  • Step 4: Individual Interviews
  • Step 5: Offer Letters Sent out

Qualifications

  • 2.5 GPA
  • No Judicial Issues
  • OUAZ Student
  • On-Campus Living Experience Preferred
